Exif Expert

Terms of use and limitation of liability

1. Acceptance

By using the site — registering, signing in, uploading files, paying — you confirm you read these terms, the privacy policy, and the file processing policy and accept them to the extent they apply to you.

If you use the service for an organisation, you state you are authorised to accept on its behalf.

You declare you use the service only for lawful purposes and do not intend to violate third-party rights or applicable law.

2. Purpose and permitted use

The service is for technical work with image metadata (including EXIF) on tasks that comply with law: processing files you own or are permitted to use, learning, testing, personal and professional projects while respecting third-party rights.

We do not advise on bypassing banks, payment systems, governments, or other operators; we do not guarantee acceptance by any review system; we do not encourage or instruct use for deception.

You alone assess lawfulness beyond simple technical file processing and bear full responsibility.

3. Unsupported scenarios

The service is for lawful technical work with images and metadata. Typical unsupported cases are listed below; the operator does not endorse such use. You decide how to use results; the operator is not responsible for outcomes in these cases and does not advise on them.

Do not use the site, technology, instructions, or outputs (including files and metadata):

— to mislead identity, KYC/AML, or similar checks at financial institutions where truthful source, time, or image properties matter without lawful basis;

— to give a counterparty a false picture of origin, capture device, geo, etc., to bypass rules or obtain services, funds, or access without lawful basis;

— for fraud, impersonation, wrongful credit or payments, bonuses, benefits, or property;

— to forge evidence, hide crimes, launder money, finance terrorism, breach sanctions, or other criminal activity;

— while violating copyright, privacy, or personal-data rules for third parties;

— to bypass technical limits, gain unauthorised access, hack, run DDoS, or abuse APIs.

Breaching this section is a material breach. The operator may restrict access and remove related materials.

4. Liability, no complicity, indemnity

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted availability, fitness for your expectations, or passage of any third-party review.

These terms and the service do not show intent to aid crime: we provide a neutral data-processing tool; you choose how to use outputs and bear criminal, administrative, civil, and other liability.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we, owners, staff, and contractors are not liable for direct or indirect damages, lost profit, fines, sanctions, reputational harm, or your actions after using the service, including presenting altered files or metadata to banks, agencies, or others.

You agree to defend us (operator, owners, staff, contractors) from third-party claims, lawsuits, fines, or costs tied to your unlawful use or breach of these terms, within limits allowed by law.

If applicable law disallows part of these limits, liability is capped to the maximum extent that law permits.

5. Data volume, file retention, disclosures

We collect limited data needed for accounts, payments, orders, and reliable site operation. Details are in the privacy policy.

Uploaded files and deliverables for orders are stored on servers for at most twenty-four hours. Per-order timelines appear in the UI and file policy.

We do not send user data to third parties for their independent processing (including ads, scoring, or external marketing deals).

Government interaction is not a product feature; we do not respond to informal data fishing. Disclosures occur only where mandatory law requires in a specific situation.

This section does not limit user rights under applicable privacy or procedural law.

6. Registration and account

You agree to provide accurate data, keep passwords secret, and not share access. You are responsible for actions on your account until you notify us of compromise using the method published on the site.

We may delete or block accounts for breaches or prolonged inactivity, with notice when reasonably possible.

7. Payments and balance

Pricing, currency, payment methods (including crypto), and balance crediting are shown in the UI at payment time.

A payment is accepted after the payment provider confirms it.

Payment network fees may apply separately; taxes and reporting remain your responsibility unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

8. Intellectual property

Software, design, text, and trademarks belong to us or licensors. Reverse engineering or copying the UI for a competing service beyond what law allows requires permission.

You keep rights to your source files; the licence to process them is limited to delivering the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes should be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after a new version publishes may mean acceptance to the extent law allows.
